Featuring Newark & Sherwood Concert Band
The 2016 event saw the Newark & Sherwood Concert Band join the traditional Proms concert organised by the Twinning Association. The first half of the programme consisted of Amparito Roca, Light Cavalry, Lucy Long, Procession of the Sardar, Puttin' on the Ritz, Mary Poppins, Ave Maria (beautifully sung by conductor, Colum O'Shea, and Fire in the Blood. The second half included many Proms favourites and much audience participation. Below are videos of most of the second half.
The second half opened with the Imperial March and David of the White Rock (sorry, no videos available) and continued as below.
